Specific Precautions and Warnings
When are taking (or are thinking to start) Adipex, you should be aware of
the following:
• Adipex may increase your blood pressure or cause some other heart
problems.
• It is shown that Adipex-P and fenfluramine mixed together can cause
dangerous
side effects, like primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH). It
appears that Adipex it self may cause these problems, but less commonly.
It is strongly recommended that you let your healthcare provider know about
any PPH symptoms you may have, such a:
• Fatigue or weakness
• Dizziness or fainting
• Difficulty breathing
• Chest pain
• Ankle swelling
• Blue lips or skin.
• It is recommended that you don’t mix alcohol with Adipex, it may react the
wrong way.
• If you have diabetes and take some kind of medicine, you should let your
healthcare provider know and he will adjust your
dosage.
• Adipex when used may cause some problems for you to be completely
concentrated, so when you are driving you should be careful.
• Adipex can interact with a number of other medications, contact your
doctor for the detailed information about the medications.
• Adipex is recommended not to be taken when pregnant or breastfeeding.
